Dédé Guardiola - Bio

Originally from Alsace, I left the family nest in 2003 to take my BAC Applied Arts ( Lycée Le Corbusie r),

I go back there regularly to train with my Hip Hop dance group in training,

with which I participate in several regional, national and international competitions ( ASPTT Colma r, multiple champions of France).

In 2006, I returned to Colmar to follow a preparation for the visual arts competitions.

I finally decided to go to Paris, in 2007, to join the prestigious fashion school: Atelier Chardon Savard .

Double degree in fashion design, and fashion design,

I add to this training a Fashion Styling certificate, followed at London Fashion College .

I multiply various and varied internships in the fashion world (salons, Prêt à Porté, Haute Couture), in particular at:

Mess Around, American Retro, Peachoo + Krejberg , then at Giambattista Valli with whom I will take the post of Assistant Artistic Director.

I then left the studio to enter a showroom at Staff International (Viktor & Rolf, Diesel, Dsquarred, MMM, ...).

My stint in wholesale opened the doors to retail, and in 2013 I joined the Maison Martin Margiela team in department stores.

Having more free time, I start to organize my first live paintings and exhibitions or freelance projects (Batofar, Naturathera, ...).

After all these experiences, I miss the job of creator, I'm looking for how to find professional craft creation,

while keeping my qualities of guides and sharing that I have been able to develop over the years, and which are close to my heart.

After a crushing trip to Vietnam, I decided to set sail and I took off for an adventure that will make me grow as I never thought.

2015, I start my road trip during which I discover an exciting culture and souls of overwhelming generosity.

I stop at Sapa, temple of the tribes of High Vietnam, and join the organization Sapa O'Chau , with whom I am starting my first volunteer exchange,

by teaching sewing, creating a fashion collection using traditional fabrics, but also merchandising,

marketing, and where I paint my first walls, where I learn indigo, weaving, batik and hand embroidery.

Back in Hanoi, I take the artistic residency in Hanoi Rock City , combined with other jobs as teachers of dance, plastic arts and English.

In 2016, the ADS Design Institute invited me to take charge of the fashion department, for which I teach

but also carries out programs, workshops and events or collaborations.

That same year, I met Emily Navarra during a workshop at The Movement Kitchen, which introduced me to contact dance,

several equally enriching workshops will follow.

In 2017, I go freelance and teach design and styling in several universities in the city ( FTP, FACE , ...).

I then started my activity as a leader of artistic creation in the city, organizing live paintings, partnerships, the Indik'Art festival,

and join the Vibe Nation Beach Fest team .

IN 2017, I arrived at Coco Beachcamp , where I would be artistic director for more than two years.

However, I do not stop artistic activity and combine festivals and artistic events.

In 2018, I joined the team of the famous Quest Festival , as Perfomance Producer, festival where Aku Art Tribe was born .

In 2019, I leave the beach to return to Saigon and work as artistic director for GS Dance Studio .

Shortly after, I joined the Baroness Club team as Artistic Director and painter.

I combine these two jobs for a few months, until I return to my favorite Free Lance artist position (painting, decorations, festivals, styling, performance).

Hoa Sen University offers me the position of teacher in fashion design, where I teach different subjects and guide students in the creation of their collections.

In 2020, invited to perform at Jai Thep Festiva l de Chaing Mai, for an interactive live painting with DDLG ,

I find the Ginger Work team for the production of their monumental scene.

During all this time, the Aku team continues to give workshops but is weakened due to lack of budget.

The need to concretize and theorize our concept in order to be able to share it as best as possible,

brings me back to France in 2020, where I am currently pursuing a training in Art Therapy at IRFAT,

and continue my activity as a freelance artist, dance and yoga in order to deepen this idea of movement therapy.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
